Learning & Development Manager

About the role

Primo is looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead operational learning across its Chullora site and broader NSW operations. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping how learning is designed, delivered and embedded across Production, Operations and Distribution, working with leaders and subject matter experts so the workforce is skilled, compliant and future-ready.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of operational learning programs across Production, Operations and Distribution
• Oversee onboarding, induction and compliance training in line with WHS, HACCP, GMP and regulatory requirements
• Manage and coach a team of Workplace Trainers and Assessors
• Partner with operational leaders on learning needs analysis and skills matrices
• Own and optimise learning systems, records, databases and the LMS for data integrity and audit readiness
• Manage learning calendars, refresh cycles and training budgets
• Support audits and compliance with accurate, well-packaged learning data
• Embed a continuous improvement mindset across the business

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Education, Learning & Development, HR, Business or a related discipline
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proven leadership experience in FMCG, manufacturing or a similar complex operational environment
• Confident communicator able to engage and influence at all levels

Required skills

• Working knowledge of WHS, HACCP, GMP and compliance-driven training frameworks
• LMS management and learning system administration
