Lead Consultant – SAP Finance Solution Architect

About the role

Infosys is seeking a senior Lead Consultant to act as the SAP Finance Lead Solution Architect for Australian Federal Government projects. The role will define, shape and lead SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, driving transformation strategy and providing trusted advisory to senior public‑sector stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse government business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
• Design and oversee implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions in collaboration with development teams.
• Lead presales activities, including solution positioning, proposal development and stakeholder workshops.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshoot issues and deliver technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices and governance frameworks.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to client and internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in SAP Finance, preferably with S/4HANA deployments.
• Strong client‑facing and advisory skills, especially within the public sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead presales engagements and transformation programmes.
• Excellent analytical and communication capabilities.
