Lead Consultant, Digital Management

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Lead Consultant, Digital Management to shape digital delivery on some of Australia’s most complex infrastructure projects, including defence, hospitals, stadiums and data centres.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Digital Engineering, BIM and Digital Delivery strategies, execution plans and workflows.
• Translate client and contractual requirements into practical digital delivery processes and governance frameworks.
• Provide digital governance, assurance and oversight across multidisciplinary design teams.
• Lead coordination of digital models, information exchanges and interfaces in complex environments.
• Support establishment and management of Common Data Environments and digital project systems.
• Identify and implement automation, analytics and AI‑enabled opportunities to improve delivery.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Digital Management, BIM or Information Management within engineering, design or construction.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, construction management or related discipline.
• Proven experience leading digital delivery on large, multidisciplinary projects and operating in senior digital leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650, information management principles and digital governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to work with clients, project directors and technical leaders.

Required skills

• Autodesk Forma, Revit, Navisworks, Revizto.
• ProjectWise, Aconex or equivalent digital delivery platforms.
• ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plan development.
• Common Data Environment (CDE) management.
• Digital model coordination and information exchange.
