Lawyer – Senior Associate (Statutory Insurance)

About the role

Hall & Wilcox is seeking a Lawyer to join its high‑performing Statutory Insurance Victoria team as a Senior Associate. The role focuses on workers’ compensation and transport accident matters for a broad client base of employers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and advise on a diverse portfolio of workers’ compensation and transport accident claims.
• Provide strategic legal advice and represent clients in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate closely with partners, senior lawyers and a dedicated administrative team.
• Maintain accurate case records and meet competing deadlines.

Required profile

• Admitted to practice in Australia with statutory insurance experience in workers’ compensation and/or transport accident law.
• Ability to manage an active workload and competing timelines.
• Clear and concise legal writing and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Statutory insurance law expertise (workers’ compensation, transport accident).
