Lawyer (Australian Practising Certificate Required)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified lawyer who holds a current Australian Practising Certificate to provide remote legal support to Australian law firms. The role involves delivering high‑quality advice across a range of practice areas while collaborating with solicitors and clients in a fully virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on matters governed by Australian law.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, memoranda, and case summaries.
• Draft, review, and amend contracts, court documents, and other legal correspondence.
• Assist with case strategy, matter management, and ensure compliance with legislative changes.
• Liaise with clients, barristers, government agencies, and other stakeholders as required.
• Maintain accurate legal records and manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) and an unrestricted Australian Practising Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years post‑admission experience practising Australian law.
• Strong knowledge of Australian legislation, legal procedures, and professional conduct obligations.
• Excellent research, drafting, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing priorities.
