Laundry Shift Leader

About the role

The Ayers Rock Resort is looking for an energetic Laundry Shift Leader to manage daily operations of its commercial laundry facility. You will work on‑site in Yulara, NT, overseeing a diverse team and ensuring high‑quality service for the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Execute start‑up and shutdown procedures for boilers, air compressors and laundry machinery.
• Operate extractor washers, dryers and manage the use of various chemical powders.
• Lead and delegate tasks to laundry attendants, prioritising workload throughout the shift.
• Coordinate with other resort departments to meet their laundry requirements.
• Train new employees and support staff learning new equipment.

Required profile

• Strong leadership attitude with the ability to guide a tight‑knit team.
• Energetic, reliable and able to work independently when senior management is absent.
• Willingness to live on‑site and adapt to a remote resort environment.
