Laser Therapist - Tattoo Removal (Queensland Radiation Licence)

About the role

An established tattoo removal studio in Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast is looking for an experienced Laser Therapist. The role suits someone with at least 6 months of hands-on laser treatment experience and a current Queensland Radiation Licence, and offers full-time, part-time or casual arrangements. The studio operates Tuesday to Saturday, with about 3-4 days per week available by agreement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform laser tattoo removal treatments using Candela PicoWay technology
• Follow laser safety, treatment and infection-control procedures
• Consult with clients, explain the process, treatment expectations and aftercare, and give honest advice on realistic outcomes
• Maintain accurate client treatment records
• Keep treatment rooms, equipment and the studio clean and organised
• Work collaboratively with the studio team and take part in ongoing training

Required profile

• At least 6 months of hands-on laser treatment experience
• Current Queensland Radiation Licence (essential)
• Confident operating a laser in a professional treatment environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, takes pride in their work and enjoys a busy studio environment

What we offer

• $36-$39 per hour plus superannuation
• 133% Saturday rates plus commission
