Landscape Supervisor / Team Leader

About the role

Pearl Recruitment is seeking an experienced Landscape Team Leader / Supervisor for a family leisure and entertainment destination in Perth. You will lead the grounds team while staying hands-on across landscaping, grounds maintenance, irrigation and site upkeep, working closely with management to keep the park's outdoor areas to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the grounds team, allocate tasks and coordinate daily workloads
• Plan maintenance around park operations, including moving disruptive machinery and mowing work earlier in the day
• Oversee mowing, pruning, planting, weeding and general garden maintenance
• Manage irrigation and reticulation maintenance, repairs, upgrades and fault finding
• Operate and oversee machinery such as bobcats and excavators
• Complete minor landscaping construction, paving, concreting and infrastructure repairs
• Maintain tools, equipment, work areas and landscaping infrastructure
• Coordinate contractors and assist with project planning and implementation
• Monitor work quality and ensure site safety procedures are followed

Required profile

• At least two years' experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar in landscaping or grounds maintenance
• Strong hands-on landscaping, horticulture and irrigation / reticulation experience, or willingness to learn and upskill
• Confident coordinating staff, allocating workloads and managing daily priorities
• Knowledge of general maintenance, hand and power tools and equipment care
• Australian driver's licence and Construction White Card
• Physically fit for outdoor manual work; able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen and provide a clean National Police Clearance
• Full Australian working rights

What we offer

• $80,000-$90,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience
• Permanent position with an established Perth leisure and entertainment business
• Monday to Friday, typically 7am-3:30pm during park season
• Four days on, four days off roster during the winter off-season
