Kitchen Attendant

About the role

Royal Sydney, one of Australia's most prestigious private members' clubs, is recruiting a Kitchen Attendant. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the role keeps the kitchen areas clean and hygienic. It is a casual position with availability to work shifts from 8:30am to 11:00pm across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Operate an industrial dishwasher.
• Clean and wash up.
• Handle goods manually and apply cleaning chemicals correctly.
• Support the chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Follow food safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of WHS and food hygiene procedures.
• Experience in a high-volume environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends.
