Kindergarten Teacher (Part‑time)

About the role

ACC Hobart is seeking a part‑time (0.6 FTE) Kindergarten classroom teacher to start in Term 3 2026. The role combines academic instruction with Christian formation and pastoral care in a supportive K‑10 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Christian formation of students and deliver pastoral care grounded in genuine faith.
• Teach the prescribed curriculum using an inclusive, cross‑cultural approach.
• Apply an Explicit Instruction model where possible to ensure academic rigor.
• Maintain a conducive learning environment that nurtures students' interests, skills and abilities.
• Participate in staff meetings, extra‑curricular activities and parent liaison as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor's degree and any additional teaching qualifications (e.g., Master of Education).
• Passion for impacting students' minds and hearts while providing a safe, supportive environment.
• Relational, holistic view of teaching and student welfare.
• Collaborative mindset and a servant‑hearted, vibrant Christian faith.
