Junior Store Assistant – Melbourne CBD

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Store Assistant to join our Melbourne CBD store. This casual position offers a fast‑paced introduction to retail, providing the training and support needed to become a confident member of the ALDI team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them locate products on the shop floor.
• Maintain clean, organised aisles and ensure shelves are well‑stocked.
• Perform back‑of‑store duties such as unloading deliveries, unpacking stock and replenishing shelves.
• Support cash‑handling and checkout processes as required.

Required profile

• Availability to work weekends, after‑school hours (4 pm‑9 pm) and during school holidays.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
• Reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to follow health and safety procedures.

Required skills

• Customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
• Basic numeracy for handling cash and stock counts.
