Junior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) – South Bank, QLD

About the role

Join Flight Centre Travel Group as a Junior Software Engineer and work across the full technology stack. You will contribute to frontend design systems, backend APIs, and the underlying platform and infrastructure, gaining hands‑on experience with modern web technologies in a supportive, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy web applications, micro‑services and APIs using HTML, CSS and TypeScript (React & NextJS).
• Write high‑quality, secure, testable and maintainable code.
• Own code quality through testing, test automation and observability.
• Analyse business requirements and create appropriate technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure standards and compliance.
• Maintain and improve documentation for codebases and architectures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Product Management and Engineering teams in a fast‑paced, agile setting.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience as a full‑stack engineer delivering end‑to‑end solutions.
• Proven ability to build responsive web applications for desktop and mobile.
• Familiarity with agile engineering methods and best‑practice software engineering.
