Junior IT Field Technician

About the role

Start your IT career with hands‑on experience supporting a variety of client environments. As a Junior IT Field Technician you will work alongside seasoned engineers, gaining practical skills while delivering on‑site technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and configure computers, laptops and other IT equipment in the workshop.
• Install computers, printers and networking hardware at client sites.
• Assist with hardware deployments, upgrades and office relocations.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and job notes.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service and follow IT and security best practices.

Required profile

• Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Information Technology (or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, computer hardware and networking fundamentals.
• Genuine passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Positive attitude, team‑oriented mindset and excellent organisational detail.
• Current Australian driver’s licence (essential).
