Junior Event Coordinator

About the role

As a Junior Event Coordinator at the Crane Industry Council of Australia, you will work from our national office in Mulgrave to support the planning, coordination and delivery of a variety of industry events, ranging from local branch meetings to the flagship national conference.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate venue bookings, catering orders and audio‑visual setups for meetings, industry days, regional events and training courses.
• Manage the event portal for registrations, respond to attendee inquiries and maintain accurate participant records.
• Organise and pack on‑site materials such as signage, member badges, merchandise and promotional items.
• Collaborate with communications teams to ensure event listings are up‑to‑date and promotional campaigns are tracked.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling committee meetings, taking minutes and processing supplier invoices.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in event planning or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work after office hours to attend events.
