Junior Accountant

About the role

Our client is a boutique accounting practice in Subiaco that provides tax and business advice to a diverse client base. They are seeking a Junior Accountant with at least 1.5 years of Australian tax experience to support the growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Work directly with clients to address general tax matters and provide practical solutions.
• Assist in the preparation of cash‑flow forecasts and conduct tax research as required.
• Liaise with the ATO and other relevant bodies, building strong client relationships.
• Deliver advice to a varied client portfolio across multiple industries.

Required profile

• Minimum 1.5 years of Australian tax experience.
• Partially qualified CA or CPA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience handling complex client groups.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivation to develop a career in public practice.
