IVF Nurse Coordinator

About the role

The IVF Nurse Coordinator provides clinical guidance throughout each patient’s fertility journey, coordinating personalised treatment cycles and delivering compassionate education. This full‑time permanent position is based on‑site in Springfield and offers professional growth within a leading Australian fertility group.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end IVF/ART treatment cycles, ensuring timely bookings and smooth transitions.
• Manage theatre and procedure lists, allocate resources and schedule appointments.
• Communicate test results and treatment information clearly and empathetically.
• Conduct patient education sessions using culturally respectful approaches.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with NSQHS standards.
• Collaborate with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, risk‑managed care.
• Mentor junior nursing staff and support their development.
• Monitor stock and equipment, contribute to audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse meeting NMBA standards.
• Postgraduate nursing qualification and experience in IVF or women’s health (highly regarded).
• Scanning experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication, empathy and ability to mentor and collaborate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with clinical information systems.
• Advanced MS Office skills and meticulous documentation practices.
