ITSM Assurance & Compliance Manager

About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking an ITSM Assurance & Compliance Manager to lead governance, assurance and compliance across its IT service delivery operations. You will work closely with service delivery teams, technical towers and customers to ensure services meet contractual, regulatory and security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assurance planning, control assessments, compliance monitoring and management reporting for service operations.
• Maintain compliance with ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and customer‑specific obligations.
• Oversee operational risk management, including risk registers, treatment plans and escalation of material risks.
• Govern service continuity, ensuring continuity plans, recovery procedures and testing meet business and contractual standards.
• Drive continual improvement, governance outcomes and knowledge management across the service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT Service Management, Governance, Risk and Compliance roles, including managing assurance programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills to drive corrective actions across multiple teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, Risk Management or related discipline; Australian citizenship and eligibility for NV‑1 security clearance.

Required skills

• ITIL principles and ITIL v4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader certification (highly regarded).
• Knowledge of ISO 20000, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with governance artefacts, executive reporting and compliance metrics.
