IT Systems Administrator

About the role

Intrax Consulting Engineers is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to manage and support a hybrid IT environment for roughly 400 users. This hands‑on position covers day‑to‑day operations, infrastructure upkeep, endpoint administration, cybersecurity assistance, and user support within a Microsoft‑centric stack.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and incident resolution.
• Support business‑critical applications such as NetSuite and Box.
• Monitor backups, patching, system performance, and overall infrastructure health.
• Assist cybersecurity operations, including Sophos MDR, vulnerability remediation, and access management.
• Maintain technical documentation and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable IT services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong background with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and hybrid environments.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and endpoint management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Experience with NetSuite, Box, Sophos or comparable platforms is highly desirable.
