IT Systems Administrator

About the role

Intrax Consulting Engineers is looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to manage a hybrid Microsoft‑centric environment supporting around 400 users. The role combines day‑to‑day operations, infrastructure oversight, endpoint management, cybersecurity assistance, and user support.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and incident resolution for end users.
• Support critical business applications such as NetSuite and Box.
• Monitor backups, patching, system performance, and overall infrastructure health.
• Assist cybersecurity operations, including Sophos MDR, vulnerability remediation, and access management.
• Maintain technical documentation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable IT services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong background with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Windows Server and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and endpoint management.
• Relevant certifications such as MD‑102, AZ‑104, SC‑300, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Foundation are desirable.
