IT Support Technician – Level 1 & 2

About the role

Securitas is looking for an IT Support Technician to provide Level 1 and Level 2 assistance to end‑users across its Melbourne operations. You will ensure desktops, laptops, mobile devices and related technologies run smoothly while supporting onboarding and off‑boarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, network and Microsoft 365 issues for end‑users.
• Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Office applications.
• Configure, build and deploy laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Maintain IT asset registers, manage equipment allocation, returns, replacements and disposals.
• Perform software installations, upgrades, endpoint patching and security compliance tasks.
• Coordinate warranty repairs and hardware replacements, and document procedures and knowledge articles.

Required profile

• Experience in IT support, service desk or desktop support environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to support laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and endpoint security.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
