IT Support Officer – Vales Point Power Station

About the role

The Information Technology Support Officer provides responsive, customer‑focused IT support to Delta employees at Vales Point Power Station. You will help deliver, maintain and improve Delta’s technology services while ensuring a secure and reliable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues and manage service requests through the IT Help Desk.
• Administer end‑user devices, user access, software licensing and business applications.
• Assist with software updates, patching, security controls and continuous improvement of the technology environment.
• Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, installation, upgrades and documentation.
• Collaborate with employees, contractors, service providers and the Technology team on projects and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or certificate in Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience providing IT support and troubleshooting hardware, software and technology‑related issues in a business setting.
• Strong customer service, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an operational, industrial or corporate environment.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between Delta sites as needed.
