IT Support Junior Engineer

About the role

SUNTON TECH PTY LTD is seeking an IT Support Junior Engineer to join its growing technical support team in Sydney. This full‑time position involves providing essential help‑desk assistance to internal teams and external clients, ensuring timely and professional resolution of IT issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient technical support to end‑users via phone, email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for Level 1 inquiries.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems for Level 2 escalations.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and access rights.
• Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
• Maintain and update the knowledge base for common issues and solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of relevant experience in an IT support or help‑desk function.
• Sound working knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS and the Microsoft 365 Suite (Office, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with a patient, service‑oriented approach.
• Exceptional organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• High level of discretion, integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
