IT Support Engineer I – Operations Technology Solutions

About the role

Amazon is looking for an IT Support Engineer I to join its Operations Technology Solutions team at a logistics site. You will provide first‑line technical support for a range of IT equipment across multiple buildings, ensuring smooth operations for the fulfillment centre.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level support for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
• Allocate, maintain and troubleshoot PCs, thin clients, wireless handheld devices, printers (including Zebra thermal printers), scanners and other end‑user hardware.
• Manage Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and warranty repair processes.
• Handle multiple customer requests simultaneously and support equipment across the site.
• Learn new technologies and participate in career‑development programs within Amazon’s IT network.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of corporate‑setting support experience with Windows, Mac or Linux.
• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours across day and night shifts.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS, Linux OS support
• Zebra thermal printer maintenance
• Thin client, PC, scanner and portable handheld terminal troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Red Hat Linux, Microsoft hardware installation, AWS (preferred)
