IT Network & Systems Engineer – Australia

About the role

The Body Shop Australia's Operations team is looking for an experienced IT Network & Systems Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure, reliable and scalable technology platforms across corporate, retail, warehouse and remote environments in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain on‑premises and cloud‑based systems, ensuring security and performance.
• Administer servers, operating systems, identity services and core infrastructure platforms.
• Plan and execute system builds, upgrades, migrations and deployments with minimal disruption.
• Conduct rigorous testing, monitoring and root‑cause analysis to guarantee system reliability.
• Optimize system capacity, performance and cost efficiency.
• Provide first‑line incident handling, log calls, assign tickets and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors, manage contracts, SLAs and purchase orders.
• Support corporate users, remote workers, stores and warehouses as part of the regional IT team.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience in managing production IT environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.
