IT Manager (ANZ)

About the role

BEUMER Group is seeking an experienced, hands‑on IT Manager to lead the Information Technology function across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to a senior business leader, you will own local technology operations, cybersecurity coordination, user access management, infrastructure and end‑user support while collaborating with global IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT function across ANZ, providing coaching and support to the IT Administrator.
• Act as the primary liaison between local stakeholders and BEUMER Group Global IT.
• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations, including helpdesk, end‑user services, networking, telecommunications and office technology.
• Manage employee onboarding, off‑boarding and user access controls.
• Provide hands‑on support for laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 and workplace technologies.
• Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Lead local technology projects, upgrades, migrations and system improvements.
• Maintain IT policies, documentation, asset inventories and vendor relationships.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration or technical support.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and willingness to stay hands‑on.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical staff or external support providers.
• Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Intune
• ITIL or Cyber Security certifications (preferred)
• Networking and endpoint device management
• ERP systems such as SAP (preferred)
• SharePoint and digital workplace solutions (preferred)
