IT Domain Specialist - ServiceNow

About the role

Telstra is looking for an IT Domain Specialist aligned to ServiceNow. You will use specialist technical knowledge to design, develop, deliver and support ITSM platform solutions in Defence environments, helping meet delivery milestones and customer service levels. The role keeps platform operations stable, secure and efficient, covering configuration, integration, delivery and production support, and supports internal ownership and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery, integration and operational support of ITSM solutions using ServiceNow expertise
• Develop and implement platform capabilities with stakeholders
• Configure and develop ServiceNow modules across ITSM workflows
• Manage deployments from test to production
• Support upgrades, patching and release management
• Identify system risks and implement mitigations
• Provide technical advice and support for platform efficiency and performance
• Contribute to documentation of processes and configurations
• Take part in continuous improvement, automation and the transition of capability from external providers to internal teams
• Participate in DevSecOps practices and ITSM operational support

Required profile

• Five years plus of experience administering ITSM and OSS applications, with a preference for ServiceNow or Splunk/ITSI (certifications ideal)
• Experience in both production support and development
• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps practices
• AGSVA NV2 security clearance
