IT Deployment Technician – End‑User Device Specialist

About the role

BESIX Watpac is looking for an IT Deployment Technician to manage the end‑to‑end preparation, imaging, configuration, deployment and decommissioning of computing devices across corporate offices and project sites. You will ensure new starters, hardware refreshes and project mobilisations have ready‑to‑use devices.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and image Windows 11 devices using Autopilot or similar tools.
• Manage device lifecycle activities such as recalls, redeployment, surplus assessment and secure data destruction.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks on connectivity, software and security compliance before handover.
• Provide on‑site and remote support during deployment, assisting with account setup and data migration.
• Maintain deployment runbooks, build documentation and standard‑operating‑environment procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in IT support, device deployment or end‑user computing.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows 11 imaging and Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Ability to configure hardware peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, printers and mobile devices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
