iOS Developer – Mobile Innovation Team

About the role

Join Qantas' new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide as an iOS Developer. You will help shape intuitive, high‑performing mobile experiences that respond to user feedback and align with evolving customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional squads, UX/UI designers, product owners and test engineers.
• Implement performance tuning and debugging with Xcode Instruments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building enterprise‑scale native iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented design, SOLID principles and server‑driven architectures.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross‑team environment.

Required skills

• Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Async/Await, Swift Concurrency.
• Swift Package Manager (SPM) and Xcode Instruments.
• Swift testing frameworks and UI Automation testing.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and Git version control.
• Experience with AI integration and server‑driven architecture.
