Inventory Analyst – Drive Stock Optimisation

About the role
Bis Industries is seeking an Inventory Analyst to shape inventory strategy, demand planning and stock optimisation across its national logistics operations. You will use operational, maintenance and supply‑chain data to ensure the right parts are available at the right time, balancing availability, risk and cost.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage inventory strategies, including critical spares.
- Analyse demand trends and produce accurate inventory forecasts.
- Establish and maintain replenishment requirements and optimise stock holdings.
- Own the parts‑management process and monthly review cycle.
- Monitor inventory risks, lead times and supply constraints.
- Maintain inventory master data integrity within ERP systems.
- Produce reporting and insights on inventory performance.
- Collaborate with maintenance, planning and supply‑chain stakeholders.
- Support continuous‑improvement initiatives in inventory management.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
- Experience in inventory management, planning or supply‑chain analysis.
- Strong analytical, forecasting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication with operational and corporate stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
