Internal Sales Trainee - Bunbury

About the role

Statewide Bearings, an Australian-owned industrial supplier of bearings, power transmission, lubrication, pump, sealing and linear motion solutions, is looking for an Internal Sales Trainee in its Bunbury team. This is a full-time, 24-month traineeship where you earn while you learn, supported by experienced team members while covering customer service, sales support and branch operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email
• Process customer orders and quotations, and follow up outstanding orders and requests
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
• Liaise with the procurement team so customer delivery requirements are met
• Provide product information and sales support to help customers choose suitable solutions
• Support the sales team with customer requirements and day-to-day operations
• Assist customers with product and equipment issues and support warehouse and store activities when required
• Prioritise tasks, manage workload and maintain safe work practices

Required profile

• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of talking with people and helping customers
• Interest in mechanics, industrial equipment or technical products
• Reliable, punctual and motivated to build a long-term career
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills and teamwork
• Able to lift items up to 15 kg and pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
