Instructional Designer / Trainer – Community Services Learning Programs

About the role

atWork Australia, part of MedHealth, is looking for an experienced instructional design professional for a 6-month project-based contract. The role creates Community Services learning programs for its frontline employment services teams and is not a traditional training facilitation role: most of the time is spent designing learning solutions, developing engaging content and partnering with subject matter experts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging learning programs across multiple learning modalities
• Partner with subject matter experts and leaders to turn complex information into practical learning solutions
• Research and source external learning programs and providers to meet learning needs
• Manage multiple learning projects, delivering outcomes on time and within scope
• Monitor learning effectiveness, completion rates and feedback to improve outcomes
• Support LMS administration, ensuring compliance and mandatory training requirements are met
• Facilitate engaging training programs for diverse audiences across Australia

Required profile

• Significant instructional design experience across all learning modalities
• Ability to design learning solutions aligned to business needs
• Project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes
• Analytical approach, using data and insights to identify capability gaps and learning opportunities
• Organised and proactive, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Engaging facilitator for virtual and face-to-face learning
• Experience in employment services, community services or disability sectors is highly regarded
