Insolvency Accountant – Full‑time, Perth

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Insolvency Accountant to join our Perth office on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will work within a national chartered accounting firm, supporting insolvency and restructuring engagements for a diverse client base. This role provides hands‑on experience in both advisory and core accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of formal insolvency appointments such as liquidations, administrations, receiverships and bankruptcies.
• Prepare statutory reports, correspondence and filings for regulatory bodies.
• Conduct investigations into company affairs, financial records and potential recoveries.
• Liaise with directors, creditors, employees, financiers, lawyers and government agencies.
• Support asset realisation, creditor distributions and claims adjudication.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse financial information, prepare summaries and recommendations, and identify recovery actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Interest in advisory, insolvency or corporate finance.
• Studying towards or holding a professional qualification (CA, CPA or CFA).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Confident communicator and effective team player.
