In‑House Paralegal – Legal Team

About the role

Concept Eight is seeking a motivated and highly organised In‑House Paralegal to join its Legal team. The position offers hands‑on experience across franchise documentation, legal compliance and commercial agreements within a fast‑paced, multi‑brand franchising environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing and administering franchise agreements, renewals, variations and disclosure documents.
• Prepare and review commercial agreements, marketing terms and promotional conditions.
• Conduct legal research, produce concise summaries and maintain legal registers, templates and document management systems.
• Monitor compliance systems such as ASIC monitoring software, Franchize Manager, the Personal Property Securities Register and DocuSign.

Required profile

• Strong time‑management, organisational and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced commercial environment.
• Attention to detail and solid analytical abilities.
• Interpersonal confidence to collaborate with colleagues across Operations, Marketing, Network Development and Finance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using legal and compliance software (e.g., ASIC monitoring tools, Franchize Manager, DocuSign).
