Industrial Electrician - Maintenance & Installation

About the role

Level Electrical & Automation, based in Epping, has been delivering industrial electrical work for nearly 50 years, specialising in maintenance and installation at quarry, manufacturing and water filtration sites across northern and western Melbourne. This is a full-time permanent position working across client sites in Wollert, Bacchus Marsh, Kilmore, Diggers Rest and Thomastown, doing both installation and breakdown and preventative maintenance. It is not a domestic role.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation work and breakdown and preventative maintenance on industrial electrical systems.
• Perform complex fault finding on industrial electrical circuits.
• Work with an experienced team in a fast-paced environment, interacting with site managers and client representatives.

Required profile

• A-grade electrical licence (Victoria) is essential.
• Minimum 3 years of post-trade experience.
• Proven installation experience, not just service and breakdown.
• Strong fault-finding ability and sound understanding of motor control principles.
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions on site.
• High standard of communication and customer service.
• Weekend availability for routine maintenance (paid at overtime rates).
