Incident Response Analyst

About the role

Check Point is seeking an experienced Incident Response Analyst to lead daily incident management for customers worldwide. You will perform forensic analysis of compromised systems, develop remediation recommendations, and support customers in navigating AI-driven security challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily customer incidents and conduct incident response and forensic analysis.
• Formulate and direct response efforts, prioritize actions, and produce detailed incident reports describing compromise vectors and attacker methodologies.
• Perform large‑scale compromise assessments and build incident response plans, playbooks, and tabletop training scenarios.
• Maintain sandbox/test lab environments for malicious code evaluation and coordinate actions within a global team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 3‑5 years in T3 incident response focused on system compromise analysis.
• Proven ability to handle complex global incidents and participate in on‑call rotation with occasional weekend duties.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with Magnet Axiom for forensic investigations.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise security solutions, incident crisis management, and attack simulation for training.
• Ability to create and document security procedures, incident response plans, and playbooks.
