Inbound Logistics Specialist – APAC (Perth)

About the role

Join a world‑class organization as an Inbound Logistics Specialist, supporting land and sea transport modes across the APAC region. Based in Perth, you will help internalise logistics responsibilities, working closely with Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inbound logistics planning and execution for containerised and break‑bulk freight, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
• Collaborate with Procurement to transition from supplier‑managed to company‑managed transport.
• Support project teams with end‑to‑end supply‑chain visibility and coordination.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for land and sea logistics services.
• Participate in supplier selection, contract negotiations and onboarding.
• Coordinate execution of transport plans and manage service‑provider performance.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, internal standards, government regulations and safety requirements.
• Track KPIs such as delivery performance, cost efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of logistics operations experience, preferably in mining, manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Analytical ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Incoterms and logistics compliance standards.
• Experience with ocean freight, trucking, warehousing and stevedoring operations.
