In-Store Mortgage Broker - Hobart

About the role

Aussie, a home-loan brand with 30+ years of experience, is hiring a full-time in-store mortgage broker for its Hobart retail store. As a store broker you help customers find, buy and own their homes, and you can earn referral income from buyer's agents and conveyancing through the company's connected ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Manage walk-ins, online leads and in-store appointments with high-intent customers
• Contribute to local area marketing initiatives in your community
• Guide customers through the home loan journey from search to settlement and beyond
• Submit deals to the in-house processing team, which handles the admin
• Earn referral income from buyer's agents and conveyancing

Required profile

• Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking, or willingness to obtain one before starting (support provided)
• Background in sales or customer service roles
• Drive and determination to contribute to the growth of the retail store
• Passion for helping customers achieve their homeownership dreams
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
