Implementation Consultant - Local Government

About the role

Civica makes software used by over 5,000 public bodies worldwide to deliver critical services for citizens. As an Implementation Consultant, you will support the delivery of Altitude software within local government environments across Australia and New Zealand, delivering consulting, training and hands-on support to help customers implement practical solutions. Travel to customer sites is required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support Altitude software implementations, delivering consulting, training and hands-on assistance at customer sites.
• Investigate existing customer practices, analyse council processes and identify opportunities for solution design and process improvement.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues, resolve escalated support tickets and maintain clear, accurate customer documentation.
• Work collaboratively across Civica to meet project timelines and budgets, support customer outcomes and share product feedback for future enhancements.

Required profile

• Experience in local government or council environments, with knowledge of rates administration, property assessments, valuations, billing, concessions, exemptions and revenue collection.
• Knowledge of local government legislation, rating regulations and compliance requirements, applied during software implementations.
• Experience with local government enterprise systems and council business processes such as rates administration, debt recovery, customer enquiries or financial administration.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to quality, accountability and practical customer outcomes.
