ICT Systems Administrator – Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex

About the role

The Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC) supports NASA's Deep Space Network. As an ICT Systems Administrator you will provide hands‑on support for the critical ICT environment that enables space communications, working within a skilled team of specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 ICT support and manage help‑desk tickets.
• Deploy, configure and maintain desktop and laptop environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and user issues, escalating when required.
• Perform desktop imaging, software deployment, patching and system updates.
• Support administration and maintenance of ICT infrastructure and network‑connected devices.
• Maintain ICT asset registers, system configurations and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in end‑user ICT support.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver reliable services.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and asset management.
