ICT Support Technician – Service Desk

About the role
This is a hands‑on, visible position within MacKillop Catholic College. You will work across classrooms, computer labs and offices, supporting students and staff daily and ensuring technology runs smoothly for teaching and learning.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑level ICT support and resolve support requests promptly.
- Triage, prioritise and, when necessary, escalate issues to maintain an efficient service desk.
- Assist staff and students with devices, software, logins, printing and network connectivity.
- Set up and maintain classroom computers, labs and audio‑visual equipment.
- Manage user accounts, perform password resets and configure devices.
Required profile
- Friendly, approachable and able to explain technical issues clearly.
- Experience working with young people or in an educational setting.
- At least one year of proven ICT support or help‑desk experience with a customer‑focused approach.
- Eligibility to work with vulnerable people, including national police check.
- Suitable for a recent graduate or early‑career IT professional.
