ICT and Cyber Security Manager

About the role

The ICT and Cyber Security Manager will lead a high‑performing team delivering the Network and Security stream for the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System and related projects. You will guide complex technical investigations, systems engineering, integration and testing across dedicated facilities and operational sites.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure engineering processes, tools and governance align with Babcock policies throughout design, delivery, acceptance and sustainment phases.
• Plan and monitor team performance, support business development activities and act as a technical authority when delegated.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in technical/engineering roles with at least two years managing engineering or technical delivery functions.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skills, with a commitment to innovation, quality and safe engineering practice.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of ICT and cyber‑security principles, especially for high‑frequency communications.
• Proficiency with engineering toolsets such as PLM, MRP, design, simulation and analysis software.
• Familiarity with ILS, RAM, Safety and E3 processes.
