Hydraulic Facilities Supervisor - Fixed Term

About the role

DeltaFM (Compass Group) is recruiting a Hydraulic Facilities Supervisor for Queensland Children's Hospital in South Brisbane on a fixed-term basis. The role leads hydraulic and mechanical services delivery in a complex, critical healthcare environment, and suits a Facilities Supervisor, Plumbing Supervisor, Mechanical Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor or Junior Facilities Manager looking to advance their career.

Key responsibilities

• Manage hydraulic maintenance and mechanical services in a healthcare setting
• Supervise plumbers, maintenance technicians and subcontractors
• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance programs (PPM)
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, WHS and statutory regulations
• Monitor performance using CMMS systems such as QFM, Pronto or SAP
• Oversee reverse osmosis (RO) plants, chlorination systems, water treatment and potable water systems, and central sterilising services (CSSD)
• Conduct audits, inspections and technical reporting
• Drive asset reliability, performance optimisation and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Trade qualified in plumbing, mechanical services or building services
• Experience in facilities management, building maintenance or hospital engineering
• Proven leadership of maintenance teams and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, water systems and compliance
• Understanding of WHS, risk management and safety leadership
• Desirable: QBCC plumbing licence, backflow and TMV endorsements, plumbing contractor's licence (nominee), healthcare experience, dual trade (electrical/gas)
