Human Resources Generalist

About the role

Lincoln Electric is seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to support its global operations. The role will focus on delivering accurate HR metrics, managing employee data, and coordinating key HR processes to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present HR metrics for monthly management meetings.
• Maintain headcount reports, organisational charts, turnover and grievance registers.
• Ensure employee data accuracy within the HRIS.
• Prepare new‑employee contracts, welcome packs and induction documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding, annual performance reviews and goal‑setting processes.
• Assist the HR Manager with training needs analysis and monitor employee training.
• Handle compliance administration, workers’ compensation duties and benefit plan facilitation.
• Support talent acquisition and recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• Excellent communication, confidentiality and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and adapt to business needs.
• Knowledge of award and enterprise agreement interpretation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using HRIS systems.
