Human Resources Co-ordinator – Retail (Australia & NZ)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Co‑ordinator to provide generalist HR support to the Retail division across Australia and New Zealand. In this role you will help ensure smooth HR operations, from onboarding new staff to managing employee relations and health & safety matters.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes for retail employees.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including job posting and candidate communication.
• Provide payroll advice and liaise with payroll providers.
• Manage employee relations issues and support resolution.
• Oversee occupational health and safety compliance within the retail environment.
• Maintain accurate HR records and perform general administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Current experience in a retail or related HR environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Adaptable, responsive and able to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
