About the role
Driver Hire is looking for an experienced HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck Driver to join a local transport company based in Stapylton. You will operate an HR vehicle on multi‑drop freight runs across the Gold Coast, Northern NSW and surrounding suburbs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver general freight to multiple locations on a daily schedule.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and vehicle logs.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Required profile
- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) licence.
- Clean and up‑to‑date traffic history.
- Reliable, punctual and able to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
- Available to start immediately and possess own transport.
Required skills
- Valid HR licence.
What we offer
- Ongoing work with the possibility of permanent employment.
- Competitive pay rate of $38.50 per hour plus overtime and superannuation.
- 45‑55 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Southside Brisbane location.
