About the role

We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Support Officer to join our fully remote Australian team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience across the full spectrum of HR activities while supporting a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment tasks such as posting ads, scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Support onboarding and off‑boarding, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Maintain employee records, HR databases and personnel files.
  • Prepare employment contracts, HR correspondence, reports and other administrative documents.
  • Respond to employee queries on policies, procedures and HR matters.
  • Help with attendance tracking, leave administration and basic payroll support.
  • Coordinate virtual training sessions, engagement initiatives and HR programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation and data‑privacy requirements.
  • Contribute to HR projects and process‑improvement activities.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team.

Required profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong organisational abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Professional handling of confidential and sensitive information.
  • Interpersonal and problem‑solving aptitude.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable and eager to learn.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using online collaboration tools.
