HR Officer

About the role

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role provides HR services, recruitment and onboarding support, and stakeholder assistance across a variety of generalist duties.

Key responsibilities

• Draft job advertisements, participate in interview panels, conduct reference checks, coordinate psychometric testing, arrange travel and prepare recruitment and onboarding documentation including employment offers.
• Collaborate with other HR Officers on a rostered basis to distribute the weekly vacancy email.
• Coordinate pre‑employment medicals and fitness‑for‑work assessments, schedule appointments, maintain confidential medical records and ensure documentation meets requirements.
• Support graduate and scholarship programmes, handling onboarding, rotations, workshops, conferences, reporting and travel arrangements.
• Engage early talent by coordinating, attending and presenting at career events to attract and develop pipeline candidates.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant experience in the HR field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Highly organised, solutions‑focused and excellent at time management, meeting deadlines and planning ahead.
• Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
