HR Officer

About the role

Join the Sheraton community in Sydney as an HR Officer, supporting the Human Resources team across the full employee life‑cycle. You will help create a welcoming environment where associates feel they belong and can grow.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing HR activities, programs and initiatives.
• Support onboarding of new associates and prepare managerial employment contracts.
• Execute recruitment processes in line with talent‑acquisition requirements.
• Collaborate with the HR team to manage all stages of the employee life‑cycle.
• Plan, organise and deliver TakeCare events that foster a caring community.
• Provide administrative support and respond to general HR enquiries.
• Contribute to the hotel’s talent‑acquisition strategy and associate engagement.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solution‑oriented with a can‑do attitude.
