HR Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with the site manager in Melbourne. You will lead all site‑level HR functions, ensuring talent priorities align with business objectives and fostering a high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the site manager, shaping talent strategy and supporting business goals.
• Lead end‑to‑end HR activities including talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, staffing strategy, and organization design.
• Drive annual HR processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, salary adjustments, and promotions.
• Analyze HR metrics (turnover, time‑to‑fill, demographics) and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct employee‑relations investigations, issue resolution, and corrective actions.
• Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and development conversations.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and ensure compliance with policies, labor laws, and regulations.
• Collaborate with corporate HR Centres of Excellence (Compensation, Learning & Development, Workday Support, etc.).

Required profile

• Tertiary degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Professional HR certification (advantageous).
• 5+ years of experience in a similar HR leadership role.
• Proven expertise across talent acquisition, workforce planning, organization design, compensation/benefits, employee relations, performance management, HR analytics, and compliance.

• HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday).
• HR analytics and reporting.
