HR Generalist / Business Partner - ANZ

About the role

Intralox, a global leader in conveyor and automation solutions, is hiring an HR Generalist / Business Partner based in Melbourne to support a broad range of HR functions across its ANZ business. The role combines HR advisory expertise with strong interpersonal and analytical skills, helping foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace. It covers manufacturing, office and home-based teams and works closely with employees, managers, internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive advice to employees and managers on HR procedures, recruitment, employment law and employee relations, and act as a partner on absence management, conflict resolution and termination.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures and supplier contracts in line with legislation and company philosophy, and manage contract documentation and templates.
• Implement benefits programs such as superannuation, private health care, income protection and group life insurance, and align the benefits strategy with stakeholders.
• Support and maintain HR systems and platforms (employee portals, productivity systems such as FirstUp and the Productivity Portal), ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Contribute to onboarding and other key employee lifecycle moments, support change management, and support learning and development needs.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives that improve workplace culture, support international HR efforts, and contribute to employee experience and regional projects.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification and/or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively.
• Strong planning and organisational habits.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and practices, including the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and modern awards.
• HR advisory and policy and compliance work.
